Adad-Nariri III

King of Assyria from 811 to 783 BCE, son of King Shamshi-Adad V and Shumirum. When his father died, Adad-Nirari III had yet to become an adult, which allowed Shumirum to take the throne until he was of age.

Considering his successful campaigns and the construction of the temple of Nabu in Nineveh, Adad-Nirari III made substantial contributions to the strength of the empire before his death.

1994-96, Bronze, Larger than Life
